Yes. I am still interested in having test adminship. I was just editing Tunisian Arabic in the English Wikipedia. Furthermore, GeekEmad is working on a Functional Algerian that uses common Maghrebi words as the technical ones so that it can be intelligible to the Tunisian and Moroccan people. Hello. I would like to be a test administrator for the [Proper] Karelian Wikipedia. To the moment I contributed with 25 edits for this wiki (incl. 14 edits in this month) and of course it's not too much, but I'm active in Incubator generally since 2014 and I know the policy. The rights are needed for me to delete/restore pages (e.g. I want to delete pages in another project's language), and maybe for another goals. I promise not to overreach the rights (otherwise you might desysop me).

I am an administrator and bureaucrat on Ladino Wikipedia and am working to add infrastructure pages to the Ladino Wiktionary project to match up with Ladino Wikipedia. I have also been helping people on other Incubator projects, especially with templates, as well as working to help out on Incubator in general.

Both Ladino Wikibooks (Wb/lad) and Yiddish Wikibooks (Wb/yi) are substantially inactive projects, though at least in the former case I've done some template creation. But I'd ask that you assign me to those projects as well just to help patrol them for either vandalism or to watch if anyone new comes around to work on them. I would like to request test wiki adminship for myself for 3 months in the Arabic Wikivoyage (Wy/ar) project space. Although that I don't have much edits here in the Incubator, yet I am very familiar with Wikimedia projects with 10 years editing experience and more than 380K edits (and over a million bot edits). The Wy/ar project has only one test wiki admin who is not very active. (No edits in the past month.) and I believe that an active admin should always be present to take care of the project (like deleting off-topic pages, editing tests. etc). Amqui (Wp/atj)

Hi, I have been a test-admin on other test-projects before and I'm also admin on other projects such as Wikipedia and Wikivoyage in French for example. We are currently running a pedogagic project with the Atikamekw community as well as giving training to the community on how to contribute to Wikipedia. It would be useful to be able to perform the admin tasks myself, mainly deleting pages, or being able to create account directly on the Incubator (I had to create students account on the French Wikipedia for the last project); this is needed during formation because there is a limit of 6 new accounts per IP address in a day, in it would be good if the Incubator is there home wiki. We will have the community elect their own test-admin. I have put a notice of this request on the main talk page of the project. We have the intent, later, to have the community elect an admin speaking Atikamekw, but the potential volunteers need to get more familiar with Wikipedia and MediaWiki first. Hello, on my talkpage, Funny Danny think it would be a good idea if I become test-admin on Wp/atj and he's right. As mentioned by Amqui above, Wikimedia Canada is running a pedagogic project with Atikamekw community, for the next year and maybe more. It would be useful to have admin tools to delete pages that are obsolete, but also create accounts for teachers and students since there's a limitation of 6 accounts per IP address / per 24 hours. I'm sysop on Wikipedia-fr and on Commons for many years, so I know how to use admin tools. True. My fault. I was not looking further up than just couple lines and since I haven't spotted any rules (they are quite further here than eg. on Meta), the user is trusted and well known, and was invited to become test admin, I acted. Which actually reminds me, that once ago before I've got busy with other projects, I thought about splitting this page as this is neither noticeboard nor bots are administrators etc. (= it mixes various things). Anyway, while I hardly doubt anybody would have an objection, you as steward may of course remove the rights for the following 4 days and we can then reassign them, but I think it is overbureaucratized. Of course if within next 4 days someone raises an objection, then removal is in place.
My apologies to both of you for the inconvenience, I acted in good will to help out to the WMCA project because technical restrictions (# of account created) should not be the cause of its fail, lower success nor even an obstacle on its way. Should you think I should step down from bureaucratship because of this fault, let me know.

I am at a loss about your comment. - I didn't expect that any opposes would be made on this request, and it's also not a big deal if it once happens that a request is closed a day or so too early by accident. But closing a request on its first day is really over the top, especially when the person who "invited" the request was you yourself. The argument about the account creation limit can't mitigate that: neither was it said that this is an urgent issue, nor do test-admins actually have the right to bypass the rate limits (!). I agree that, now that the right is already assigned, it would just generate unnecessary log entries to take it away again, however 1) I couldn't remove it as a steward because I cannot do anything on this my home wiki as a steward, 2) bureaucrats can actually remove test-admins by themselves. You are a bureaucrat for 8 years now, and as far as I recall, the scheduled duration of test-adminship requests has not been changed during this time; bureaucrats could also remove test-adminship during all this time. This action here was in itself rather harmless, but since you somehow forgot or never knew all these policies, it makes me rather concerned and I think it might indeed be better if you resigned as a bureaucrat. --MF-W {a, b} 18:47, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
