Welcome[edit source]

Welcome to the Wikimedia Incubator! At the right there are some important links, and here are some tips and info:

Your bot[edit source]

Sorry to bother but it would be nice if your bot, User:CompBot put a reason for deletion. I have deleted all those categories but the time it takes to get the bot flag should be enough to get a reason. Ebe123 (Talkabout it|contribs) 21:46, 29 August 2011 (UTC)

I gave your bot the flag. Ebe123 (Talkabout it|contribs) 16:04, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

Спасибо за написание ненецкой статьи. Если Вы владеете языком, пройдитесь, пожалуйста по остальным статьям, они все из одного слова. --Jugydmort 16:30, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

Hidden categories[edit source]

Hi, I was told you asked about hiding categories on IRC - please see mw:Help:Categories#Hidden_categories: The magic word "__HIDDENCAT__" needs to be added. Best regards --MF-W {a, b} 19:37, 24 June 2013 (UTC)

Test-adminship expired[edit source]

Hi Comp1089, your test-adminship for Wt/ba, Wt/mdf expired today. You can reapply for it on I:A if you still need/want it. --MF-W {a, b} 15:20, 5 October 2013 (UTC)

ba Wikibooks approved[edit source]

Congratulations on the approval of Bashkir Wikibooks. It is open and can be edited at b:ba:.

Please note that test administrators do not automatically become administrators at the new wiki. If you want to serve in that role, you need to start an RfA discussion on the new wiki, then request adminship from the stewards at m:SRP. Your test-admin status on other test projects here will not be affected. Continued thanks for your efforts here. StevenJ81 (talk) 13:16, 24 August 2017 (UTC)

Admin approval[edit source]

Seeing as this is heading toward an easy approval, let me ask you a couple of questions so that I can get ready to pull the trigger:

  1. On this page, I list administrators' fluent languages. Based on your user pages here, ruwiki, bawiki and meta, I'd list ru as native, and eo and fr as level-3 or better. But others are not quite as clear to me:
    • You have ba as everything from level 5 (on bawiki and Meta) to level 1 (on ruwiki).
    • Mostly, you have en at level 4, but on Meta at level 5
    • Mostly, you have pl at level 3 or level 4, but on Meta at level 5
    • On Meta, you have be and de at level 3. Where these appear elsewhere, they are lower
    • On ruwiki, you have la at level 4, but it doesn't appear anywhere else.
Given that I'm trying to make people aware of what languages you are comfortable in, would you mind giving me some guidance on all this?
  2. On this page, I have a list of test-administrators by project. For test-admins, this list drives two important real consequences: (1) it places their names on the infopage(s) of their test project(s), and (2) when test-admins try to do admin tasks, they get a warning about it except on tests that are listed on this page.
    • Optionally, full administrators who are particularly active on certain tests can be listed (with "never" expiration). The reason potentially to do this is reason (1) above, so that anyone active on those tests knows to reach out to you specifically if they have questions about the test. [(2) doesn't kick in for full administrators.] You don't have to do this at all, but if you do, pick up to three or four tests I should list here.

Thanks. I look forward to having you on the team. StevenJ81 (talk) 14:26, 21 November 2018 (UTC)

@StevenJ81: Well, it seems I've not been actualizing the data on all my userpages properly. I'd list ru-5 (or N, whatever you prefer), ba-5, en-5, pl-5, uk-4, be-tarask-4, uk-4, fr-3, de-3, eo-3, tt-3, sty-2. I'll modify my Incubator userpage accordingly. la-4 seems to be coming from the time I experimented with the templates, it's been a while :-). As far as the tests are concerned, definitely do list Wt/ba. I'll think of other tests that I might be of use in, and modify the page accordingly later on if possible. --Comp1089 (talk) 14:38, 21 November 2018 (UTC)

Unblock user(bluehamed)[edit source]

Hi. User:Bluehamed is blocked. Now this user intends to contribute to the Southern luri wiki project(wp/luz). But it is not able to do it and does not even have access to send messages to admins. He asked me to send him a request to unblock so that he could help with Southern luri wiki project. thanks Sahh (talk) 18:26, 9 December 2020 (UTC)

Hello. I unblocked the account. I don't understand why he was blocked in the first place... --MF-W {a, b} 23:47, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
