• If you haven't created a user page yet, please create one with for example Babel templates on it.
• You can select your interface language in your preferences.
• If you make articles, templates or categories, don't forget to add a prefix!
• If your knowledge of English is good, you can help with translating pages to other languages you know, so more people can understand it!
• If you want to translate the interface, please go to Translatewiki.net and follow the instructions.

I was caught a little by surprise when I found translations of MediaWiki pages in the New Pages feed, then realized you are an OTRS member. I don't know if those edits are formally within the remit of OTRS or not. But I'd like it if you'd formally request the translator flag at Incubator:Administrators#Other requests, just for transparency. Thanks. StevenJ81 (talk) 16:23, 28 March 2017 (UTC)

Hey Steven, thank you for the welcoming. I must admit, your message confused the heck out of me for a second, but I now realize what caused this.

OTRS user group is merely for identification. The group grants no rights to its members. I was able to edit two MediaWiki pages through the Translate extension, because they were marked for translation by SPQRobin. For verification, please see this.

@StevenJ81: Sure, but apparently I am not allowed to create the Template:Welcome/tr (since it is not prefixed). Could you please create it so I can handle the rest?

One other thing to do there: I think you need to add a parameter |welcome= with the translation to "Welcome to Wikimedia Incubator!". StevenJ81 (talk) 18:41, 28 March 2017 (UTC)

@StevenJ81: Done. Could you please create MediaWiki:Sidebar-sandbox/tr with "Deneme tahtası"? This is the last missing piece of a perfect Turkish localization. :)
