Welcome to Wikimedia Incubator!

At the right there are some important links, and here are some tips and info:

  • If you haven't created a user page yet, please create one with for example Babel templates on it.
  • You can select your interface language in your preferences.
  • If you make articles, templates or categories, don't forget to add a prefix!
  • If your knowledge of English is good, you can help with translating pages to other languages you know, so more people can understand them!
  • If you want to translate the interface, please go to Translatewiki.net and follow their instructions.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them on Incubator:Community Portal.

Translation request[edit source]

Hi! How are you? Sorry to bother you with this but I would like to ask you whether you could please translate this to Tsiluba?

  • Glosa is an artificial auxiliary language designed for international communication.

Thanks. Jon Gua (talk) 11:05, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Gloser muakulu udibu bafuka bua kwakudibua kudi bantu badi mu matunga a babenda. Shayi ngolu (talk) 08:18, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, could you please translate this as well?
It has several characteristics:
  • Its pronunciation is regular, and its spelling is phonetic.
  • Its structure is very simple and based on meaning.
  • It is an analytical language with no inflections or genders. A small number of words handle grammatical relations.
Above all, Glosa is neutral and truly international due to the use of Latin and Greek roots, which are used in the international scientific vocabulary. Jon Gua (talk) 09:51, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia in Tsiluba[edit source]

Hi, I don't speak Tsiluba, but I can try to help you creating simple templates. Also, I can give you short sentences to translate to Tsiluba and I can create the articles (adding templates, categories, images, etc.). Would you be interested in doing it? --Jon Gua (talk) 13:01, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It has the following characteristics:
  • It is an isolating language with subject–verb–object word order.
  • There are no articles.
  • There is no grammatical gender or noun class system.
  • Most grammatical meaning is expressed through particles that precede the words they modify.
  • Adjectives follow the noun.
  • Guosa is generally prepositional.
