Thank you for your translations. I will have them tested on a sandbox page at Wikimedia Incubator before adding them to the Manchu Test Wikipedia Mainpage.

Re: Templates[edit source]

Hi Obonggi,

Actually, these two templates (and all future Wp/mnc templates) are supposed to be written in the Manchu language:

Template:Wp/mnc/TwinMNC-Trad

Template:Wp/mnc/TwinMNC-Latn

(If you could have them translated, then that would be great).

Since no Manchu transliteration has yet been developed online, nor installed on Manchu Test Wikipedia, it would be better to enable users to be able to toggle between both writing systems. (For example, on Mindong Wikipedia), no transliteration has yet been developed & installed on cdo.wikipedia.org, so each article there can have both a Han character version and a Romanized version.

A similar situation applies for Manchu where some Manchu users & Non-Manchu users might want to be able to view an article in both writings systems. Instead of deleting all the Manchu latin articles, we should ensure that every latin article has a Manchu script equivalent for people to view.

In the long term, if enough Manchu script articles are created here, then users would naturally be viewing the Manchu script articles 90% of the time. --JackonLee54 (talk) 09:09, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The Last major Mainpage template that needs translating is the Topics template. I have attempted some of it.

Due to time constraints, I will need to go offline now (and for most of the week), however you can always ask other members of the Wikimedia Incubator community for help.

(Also, make sure that every new and existing article created has [[Category:Wp/mnc]] at the bottom of each page. This would ensure that the Article Counter would be able to count that article automatically. --JackonLee54 (talk) 11:17, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

我在上面分享的字型是內蒙大學開發的 Oyun Qagan Tig，作者好像是這個領域的專家。我老早前就發現這個字型通吃蒙古文、滿文、錫伯文，所以我就加入到 zh:Template:MongolUnicode，並抄送一段源碼到這裏。--Great Brightstar (talk) 14:00, 29 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

然而，在-k的词尾型上 oyun存在与太清同样的问题变形与unicode不完全一致(词中型同样不完全一致但要用的两种:-k+FVS1+~和-k+FVS2+~，是与unicode一致的)

我已找到有人能够提供字体，所以现在可以准备申请WebFont和网页输入法了。开发了WebFont就可以在任何设备上正常显示满文。转写转换的话，可以用外面的自动转换工具逐个转换一下，等到词条多了以后再考虑向维基申请。--Obonggi (talk) 11:37, 29 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

关于“中古汉语维基”[edit source]

Obonggi先生，您好。初看到您的中古汉语维基，心情还是很激动的。但是仔细一想，还是要给阁下泼冷水了。中古汉语是当时的语言，而您只是将现代标准汉语以一种和中古音系对应的输入码形式写了出来。首先是语言和文字：客家话和闽南语等汉语维基皆有拼音和汉字版，但他们记述的是一种语言。（这里吐槽一下，某些维基居然不以汉字默认。）其次既然是一种拼音文字，就不应像一种输入法一样，做一些使文字表音性减弱的工作。还有既然作为中古汉语拼音，相信大部分人熟悉的是严实博士的中古汉语拼音吧，不用也要转换一下吧（笑）。阁下可以研究一下中古时期的文言或白话，或是以某本白话小说语言为标准重修一下（还是希望以汉字为主要书写系统），或是和文言维基的各位联系，加一个转换系统什么的。在此就静候佳音了。WW fish (talk) 14:03, 9 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
