Why not split?

[edit source]

Why not split this page in language sections? Like:

  1. Incubator:Community Portal/nl
  2. Incubator:Community Portal/ota
  3. Incubator:Community Portal/en
  4. Incubator:Community Portal/fr
  5. Incubator:Community Portal/general or Incubator:Community Portal/mul
  6. Incubator:Community Portal/ext
  7. Incubator:Community Portal/nso
  8. Incubator:Community Portal/sei
  9. Incubator:Community Portal/loz
  10. Incubator:Community Portal/hz

And so on. SF-Language 09:35, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hmmm.. There is not that enough activity on the community portal to split it. Maybe we can add above the page who can help you (with Babel templates or something). Many Wikipedias do something like this. SPQRobin 10:39, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
You mean an embassy, or so? SF-Language 10:40, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Not completely... As I said: Babel templates or maybe like this:

  • en - English
{{en-2}} - SPQRobin (talk | active?)
  • nl - Nederlands
{{nl}} - SPQRobin (talk | active?)

What do you think? SPQRobin 10:47, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
I think it's good, but maybe more for a subpage. If you just put it on I:CP the complete pages is used for that... SF-Language 10:49, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
What do you mean with your last sentence? SPQRobin 10:52, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
If you put your list directly on Incubator:Community Portal and not in a subpage, the complete page (Incubator:Community Portal) is filled with your list. SF-Language 10:54, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
We can add a box like the archive box, linking to a subpage (e.g. "/Who can help you?", or do you know a better name?) SPQRobin 11:01, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
I think it's good. SF-Language 11:02, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Ok, I have made it. What do you think? :-) SPQRobin 11:15, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

WikiUniversity Philadelphia Chapter - Request for Help Reviving Past Chapter Wiki

[edit source]

Hi,

I would like to revive the Philadelphia Wiki chapter of WikiUniversity. How do I do this?

- Sharon

@Sisterlink: The Wikimedia Foundation has several projects, none of which is named "WikiUniversity". There is a project named "Wikiversity" but it doesn't have any chapters for Philadelphia. I think you are trying to reactivate Wikimedia Pennsylvania which you could do through Meta. Do you know other Wikimedians in Pennsylvania who want to collaborate with you? —Justin (koavf)TCM 17:02, 12 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
@Koavf: Hmm ... isn't one of my goals in life is to NEVER make typos? I am trying to reactivate Wikimedia Pennsylvania in "Wikiversity". I will look into finding other Wikimedians in Pennsylvania who want to collaborate with me.
Who of course are welcome to leave information here.
@Sisterlink: A good place to start is Meta's page on this chapter. Some of them may be interested in restarting it. Unfortunately, Wikiversity doesn't have as much activity as some other Wikimedia Foundation projects but that can all change with a few dedicated editors! —Justin (koavf)TCM 17:31, 12 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

An issue with the display

[edit source]

Please do check the issue being mentioned in phabricator:T225075. Adithyak1997 (talk) 13:13, 5 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

1. Fixed. Thank you for bringing this up. (But if this breaks things for someone else, please comment here; I think there must have been some reason that was there.)
2. Note how to put a wikilink in for phabricator. StevenJ81 (talk) 13:52, 5 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for correcting my mistake related to wikilink and I will inform here if something goes wrong. Adithyak1997 (talk) 14:05, 5 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
