- Rehmat sahib, Khawar Wikipedia is not not normal, it is going through in an experimental stage. It is in incubator. Here you and 3 other Khwari writers will work for atleast 6 months, will learn the art of page making, will create big articles, a committee will see your work and than it will be normalised. Test-adminship [edit]
Hello, I noticed that you requested adminship for the Khowar Test Wikipedia in meta, but your request was not dealt with because the correct place to ask for rights on Incubator is Incubator:Administrators. That page also has some information about test-adminship, a special user group on Incubator for administering test projects. Categories and prefix [edit]
Hello Rachitrali, Please note that it is forbidden to add categories from other tests to pages of a test. This means that it is not allowed to add a category which begins with Category:Wb/kh or Category:Wq/khw or Category:Ws/khw or Category:Wn/khw or Category:Wt/khw to pages and categories which start with Wp/khw. Different projects must have different categories. Also take notice that categories without a prefix aren't allowed either. Please take this in mind when you work with categories! Re: 500 most used messages complete translation [edit]
Dear Mr Rehmat Aziz Chitrali,
The complete localisation of the 500 most used messages into the Khowar language is indeed a brilliant effort. As you know, only the members of the Language Committee of the Wikimedia Foundation can make the decision for final approval of any Wikipedia Incubator project, which they base on certain criteria.
According to the Criteria for final approval, the Khowar Incubator Wikipedia must remain active until final approval. It is generally considered to be active if the analysis lists at least three active, not-grayed-out editors listed in the sections for the previous few months (see automated statistics). Note: At the moment, the automated statistics is currently experiencing a database problem, hence the data is not accurate until the admins have fixed the problem.
In the meantime, they are still able to tell whether an Incubator Wikipedia project is active or not on a regular basis by looking at the Recent Changes for Khowar Wikipedia. At this point in time (14 December 2012), I can see that for the past few days, there have been at least five other contributors to Khowar Test-Wikipedia of whom their native language is Khowar.
Therefore if you and the other contributors can maintain the current good momentum, then the proposal for the creation of Khowar Wikipedia would have a higher likelihood of being approved (for example Western Panjabi).
