Welcome to Wikimedia Incubator!
At the right there are some important links, and here are some tips and info:
- If you haven't created a user page yet, please create one with for example Babel templates on it.
- You can select your interface language in your preferences.
- If you make articles, templates or categories, don't forget to add a prefix!
- If your knowledge of English is good, you can help with translating pages to other languages you know, so more people can understand it!
- If you want to translate the interface, please go to Translatewiki.net and follow the instructions.

Palembang on translatewiki
[edit source]Hi!
I saw that you've made some contributions to the Palembang (Musi) language Incubator. Thank you very much for that!
Are you familiar with translatewiki.net? It's the website where the user interface of MediaWiki is translated into various languages. The translation into the Palembang language there is almost at a point where it can start being usable as a user interface language. If somebody who can write Palembang well can make just a few more translations there (about 50), people will be able to write in the Incubator and see the user interface in Palembang.
Can you please help? Just create an account at https://translatewiki.net , and I'll guide you about the rest.
Thank you! Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 19:02, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hi! Just realized that I haven't replied to this (well, I know it's been more than two years, but still). I'm User:Jawadywn on translatewiki; recently I've just started updating the translations again lmao. I plan to rework the current Wp/mui incubator but only after we can make some sort of consensus for language name, form(s), style(s), dialect(s) used, etc. Since there is now a sustainable Wikimedia community based in Palembang (with official support from Wikimedia Indonesia starting this year), hopefully we can focus on developing mui-language projects once we got it all sorted out.
- Anyway, is there any suggestions on how should we move forward? I've got some ideas from my involvement with the Jakarta community on Wp/bew (and bew:) but I'd surely welcome more input on this matter. Swarabakti (talk) 14:19, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
