Ishkashimi Wikipedia

How do you intend to create this project? According to en:Ishkashimi language, there is no writing system for the language. StevenJ81 (talk) 14:43, 10 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Rules at Incubator

[edit source]

Komi3645, I need you to respond to me on a couple of issues, please. In particular, I need to make sure you understand the following guidelines here on Incubator:

  1. While, in principle, a project in any language with a valid ISO 639–1 or ISO 639–3 code can be started here, WMF does not feel that Incubator is the appropriate place to start creating writing systems for languages that have previously only been oral/spoken languages. For that reason, we would probably not see Incubator as an appropriate place to start a Wikipedia test in Ishkashimi.
    • Since I first asked you this question 11 days ago and have not heard a response, I will give you another 3 days (a total of two weeks) to explain how you intend to start creating content for an Ishkashimi Wikipedia project. If I have not heard from you by then, I will delete all pages referring to this test.
  2. So that it is clearer what tests are actually active on the Incubator, we do not keep root (information) pages for empty projects, and we do not list projects at {{Tests/wp}} unless they have active content creation.
    • If you have not created legitimate content in any or all of the projects Wp/fud, Wp/neu, and Wp/yap by one week from now, those tests' information pages, and the mentions of those tests at {{Tests/wp}}, will be removed.

I am not trying to delete any legitimate content from Incubator. But we are trying hard not to create pages that are really not in use here. Thank you for your understanding. If you have any further questions, please let me know. StevenJ81 (talk) 23:01, 21 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

As described previously, all pages referring to Wp/isk have been deleted. StevenJ81 (talk) 12:30, 24 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
As described previously, all pages referring to Wp/fud and Wp/neu have been deleted. Pages referring to Wp/yap were retained, as you created content there. Thank you for your contributions; if there is anything I can do to help you develop that test project please let me know. StevenJ81 (talk) 21:15, 28 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
