  • Would it really be neccessary to have another test-admin there?     • I know, he told me here, when I told him about some little things, which are to be done by an admin. He aswell told me, that he is very buissy still for a few month - like he was allready a long time ago: as you can see here he had only 7 activ month since 2008, May. Hello! Our Wp/pfl could reach the Start/Lift off at summer this year. We need only three months with three Users with constant work. All other requirements are achieved. Now we are about 4 Contributors in the last months, consistently about 2-3 each month. And so I think we should train be an administrator. If we start at may or juni 2010 at example, I'could not do the the administration alone. I'am very busy in my professional life in last and next months. So I proposed Skipper one of the 5 most active contributors to train the work of an administrator. Skipper Michael has constantly expand and improved our little project. He did nothing harmful or unfriendly. Later I want to recruit the other Users (espacially Holder and Melibokus), so that we can share the burden of control. Pfälzisch has about 3 Million Speakers. There are big Citys like Mannheim, Ludwigshafen, Kaiserlautern with heavy use of Pfälzisch. I give an interview to the biggest newspaper "Die Rheinpfalz" and they wait for our start. So we have to organise daily control after the start to provide advertising, promotion, insults and violations of copyrights. We have no problems in our little group. Vielleicht könnte man die drei Millionen, die nur darauf warten, die pfl.wikipedia, sobald es sie gibt, mit ihren Beiträgen zu beglücken, darauf hinweisen, dass man auch hier im Incubator schon beitragen kann. Natürlich können wir ihn zum Test-Admin machen, Angst davor, dass irgendeine dubiose Horde nur darauf wartet, euch vollzuspammen mit Urheberrechtsverletzungen und Werbung braucht ihr aber auch nicht haben, das SWMT und die Stewards (evtl. bald auch Global sysops) werden euch schon retten. Schön gesagt, :-) - und es trifft sicher auch zu, daß sich wohl nur wenige der drei Millionen zu einer Mitarbeit werden bewegen lassen, wohl noch nicht einmal der gleiche Prozentsatz, den die dt. Wp unter den Dt.-sprachigen erreicht. Andererseits scheint mir die Befürchtung von Claus, daß wir uns mit einem viel rauheren Klima auseinanderzusetzen haben werden, wenn die Pälzisch WP erstmal bekannter geworden ist, keineswegs aus der Luft gegriffen und sowas oder solches brauchen wir sicher ebensodringend wie "doi Muddää"-Seiten oder andere Formen von Schwachsinn und Vandalismus ;-). Zunächst aber geht es wohl vorallem darum, daß wenigstens ein Test-Admin dasein sollte, der auch aktiv sein kann und sich nicht aus Zeitmangel mit zehn-fünfzehn Edits im Monat begnügen muß - abgesehen davon, daß es sicher nicht falsch wäre, wenn anfangs auch unter den Admins mit temporärem Status schon einer wäre, der bereits ein wenig Erfahrung hat. Claus aber, unser einziger Test-Admin, kann momentan kaum noch viel tun.

Hello! I want to become a test-administrator of Latgalian Wikipedia test version [2]. I've been working in Latvian Wikipedia already for 4 years and around 2 years in to Latgalian Wikipedia test version. Now I'm being more active and my main aim is to control language, used in our project. Also I'm the main translator of localization and writing articles at the moment. I'm asking for an adminship to have a rights to control our articles and language level in to them. We already have one test-admin User:Dark Eagle, but he is working more technical, as language skills to him are not so well yet.
