വിക്കിയാത്രയിലെ നയങ്ങളും സമൂഹവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട താളുകൾ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നത് നന്ദി. എന്നാൽ മലയാളത്തിൽ പൊതുവേ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന പദങ്ങൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് താളുകൾ നിർമ്മിക്കുക. വിക്കിയാത്ര ഇപ്പോഴും ശൈശവാവസ്ഥയിലുള്ള പദ്ധതിയാണ്. അതുകൊണ്ട് നയങ്ങൾ, ശൈലികൾ, ടെംപ്ലേറ്റുകൾ, മൊഡ്യൂളുകൾ എന്നിവ നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നതിനുമുൻപ് പരിചയസമ്പത്തുള്ള ആളുകളുടെ സഹായം തേടാവുന്നതാണ്. മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ വളരെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുള്ള മലയാള പദങ്ങളും പ്രയോഗങ്ങളും ഒഴിവാക്കുക. വിവർത്തനം ചെയ്യുന്നവ വായിച്ചുനോക്കി ഇത്തരം സങ്കീർണ്ണമായ പ്രയോഗങ്ങൾ തിരുത്തുക. ഇത് വിക്കിയാത്രയിലേക്ക് കൂടുതൽ പേരെ വേഗത്തിൽ ആകർഷിക്കുവാനും സഞ്ചാരികൾക്ക് ഉപയോഗിപ്പെടുവാനും അത്യാവശ്യമാണ്. ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുമല്ലോ. നന്ദി, താങ്കളുടെ അഭിപ്രായത്തോട് ഞാനും പൂർണ്ണമായും യോജിക്കുന്നു. ഈ കാരണത്തിനാലായിരുന്നു, നേരത്തെ ഞാൻ ചില താളുകളുടെ പദപ്രയോഗങ്ങൾ ചർച്ചയിലൂടെ സമവായത്തിൽ എത്തണം എന്ന് ആഗ്രഹിച്ചത്. പ്രത്യേകിച്ച്, മിക്കവാറും എല്ലാ താളുകളിലും നാം ഉപയോഗിക്കേണ്ടിവരുന്ന പദങ്ങളുടെ വിഷയത്തിൽ. ഉദാ: ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് വിക്കിവോയേജിൽ Understand, Get In, Get around, See, Do, Buy, Eat, Drink... എന്നീ പദങ്ങൾക്ക് അനുയോജ്യമായ മലയാള പദങ്ങൾ. ഇതിനായി ഞാൻ ചില "ദ്രുത" മാതൃകാ താളുകളും സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന പദങ്ങൾ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത രീതിയും അടിസ്ഥാന കാരണവും വിശദീകരിച്ച് സംവാദ താളിലും പ്രതിപാദിച്ചിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ, താങ്കൾ അതിൽ ഒരു തീരുമാനം എടുക്കാതെ പിന്നീട് ബോട്ടുകൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ശരിയാക്കവുന്നതെ ഉള്ളു എന്നും തൽക്കാലം ലേഖനങ്ങളൾ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുവാൻ മുൻഗണന നൽകുവാനും ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്തതോടെ ആ ശ്രമം ഞാൻ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുകയാണുണ്ടായത്.

താളുകളിലെ തലക്കെട്ടുകൾ ഒരു സ്റ്റാന്റേഡാക്കായി ബോട്ടോടിക്കാമെന്നാണ് ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞത്. എന്നാൽ പുതിയ താളുകൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കുമ്പോൾ അത്തരം പദപ്രയോഗം വളരെ സങ്കീർണ്ണതകൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നവയാണ്. ഉദാഹണരണം, കുതിച്ച് മുന്നേറുക. ഈ വാക്ക് ഒന്നിനെയും പ്രതിനിധീകരിക്കുന്നില്ല. ഏതെങ്കിലും താളിന്റെ അടിയിൽ കുതിച്ച് മുന്നേറി മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തുക എന്ന് എഴുതിവച്ചാൽ സാധാരണ മലയാളിക്ക് കാര്യമായൊന്നും മനസ്സിലാവില്ല. ഇംഗ്ലീഷിൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് പദാനുപദ തർജ്ജമ ഇവിടെ സാദ്ധ്യമല്ല. പകരം മലയാളത്തിലുള്ള അതേ അർത്ഥം വരുന്ന ലളിതമായ പദങ്ങൾ ഉപയോഗിക്കണം. ഇത് അത്ര എളുപ്പമല്ല. എന്നാൽ അങ്ങനെചെയ്താൽ മാത്രമേ ഒരു യാത്രാസമൂഹത്തിനെ ഇവിടെയെത്തിക്കാനാവൂ. അതുകൊണ്ട് നയങ്ങളുടെ താളുകൾ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുമ്പോൾ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക.
