Hi, sorry to bother you with this but I would like to ask you whether you could please translate this to Sasak:
- Glosa is an artificial auxiliary language designed for international communication. It has several characteristics:
- Its pronunciation is regular, and its spelling is phonetic.
- Its structure is very simple and based on meaning.
- It is an analytical language with no inflections or genders. A small number of words handle grammatical relations.
- Above all, Glosa is neutral and truly international due to the use of Latin and Greek roots, which are used in the international scientific vocabulary.
Thanks for your help. Jon Gua (talk) 12:05, 15 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

- Ah yes. As far as I understand, we can use babad and sejarah for history. I previously used babad since some of the manuscript about history of Lombok island or history of a place named Praya was titled "Babad Lombok" or "Babad Praya". In the end, I think we can either use sejarah and prasejarah, or we can use babad and sendèqman babad (literary means before history) for history and prehistory, respectively. - Lancelot Thomas Hogben FRS[1] FRSE (9 December 1895 – 22 August 1975) was a British experimental zoologist and medical statistician. He developed the African clawed frog (Xenopus laevis) as a model organism for biological research in his early career, attacked the eugenics movement in the middle of his career, and wrote popular books on science, mathematics and language in his later career.
- Wendy Ashby (1950-2015) was a British linguist and co-developer of the constructed international auxiliary language Glosa, which she developed in collaboration with Ron Clark. She is recognized for her contributions to simplified, culturally neutral communication systems and her efforts to promote Glosa as an educational and international medium.
- Ronald Charles Clark (28 April 1914 – 12 June 2000) was a British biologist, linguist, and educator best known for his role in developing and promoting Glosa, a simplified international auxiliary language derived from Interglossa, originally created by Lancelot Hogben. Clark’s later collaboration with Wendy Ashby was central to transforming Glosa into a practical and accessible tool for international communication and education.
- Vicente Costalago is a philologist, writer, poet, translator, researcher, and author in various constructed languages. He was born in Spain and studied modern languages at the Autonomous University of Madrid, and Translation and Interpretation at the University of Manchester. He has written and published texts in several constructed languages, mainly in Interlingue, Interlingua, Lingua Franca Nova and Glosa; and minority languages, like Extremaduran.

- Interglossa (lit. "between + language") is a constructed language devised by biologist Lancelot Hogben during World War II, as an attempt to put the international lexicon of science and technology, mainly of Greek and Latin origin, into a language with a purely isolating grammar. Interglossa was published in 1943 as just a draft of an auxiliary. Hogben applied semantic principles to provide a reduced vocabulary of just over 880 words which might suffice for basic conversation among peoples of different nationality. A descendant of Interglossa is Glosa (1970s–), which expanded and made changes to the words of the language.
