Wikipedia Logo in Shan[edit source]

Hi Saiddzone,

I wish to help create a Shan version of the Wikipedia logo.

What is the Shan translation for these phrases?:

Wikipedia,
The Free Encyclopedia

Done here--Jose77 08:56, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't look good because glyphs and rendering output styles in Padauk is not compatible with the standard Shan writing. Please render with Yunghkio.

I had downloaded the Yunghkio font, but for some reason it still does not show up on my screen. I will try and ask other Wikipedian stewards to help you. Alternatively, you can create a Shan logo and upload it onto Wikimedia Commons yourself. --Jose77 22:57, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Article counter[edit source]

When you create new articles, just remember to add: [[Category:Wp/shn]] at the bottom of each page. In this way. it can be automatically updated on the article counter. --Jose77 09:00, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

User template[edit source]

I have created the Shan user template on you userpage. This enables others to know that you are a native speaker. You can now translate it to the Shan language. --Jose77 22:57, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request for Help[edit source]

Greetings Sai Zin Di Di Zone,

Could you kindly help me translate the rest of this article into the Shan language? please. --Jose77 08:56, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Support Given[edit source]

Hi Saiddzone,

I have expressed my Support for the creation of Shan Wikipedia. --Jose77 21:36, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

However, in order for the Shan Test-Wikipedia to qualify for final approval, one of the criteria is that these 348 interface messages need to be translated into the Shan language.

To translate those system messages, follow these steps. --Jose77 21:36, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
