- Depends on what the Chinese wiki ist for. The mere pinyin transcription is unreadable for Western people. And maybe also for most of the Chinese who don't have knowledge of Mandarin (as standardized Chinese). Who could possibly then use this wiki without reference to the Chinese script and characters. There are many many homophones in spoken Chinese (which is transcribed by the pinyin system). So also Chinese have to fight with understanding the right thing with only the transcription at hand. Mouse roll-over is a nice thing but you have to roll over every time you need help and that's a little bit distrubing. So my idea is for people who only wish to have the pinyin version that they can leave the page as it is (with Chinese characters hidden) and those who need the Chinese script as well can let it show.Dudy001 13:07, 25 September 2011 (UTC)

However, you are working on Wp/cmn so you should select "Wikipedia" and enter "cmn" into the input box. This will correctly adapt the links in the sidebar, and the search function.
