Mykhailo Soroka was one of the organizers of the uprising of political prisoners in the camps of the North (Kengir, 1954). A legendary person, the greatest authority among Ukrainian prisoners for a quarter of a century. Memoirs were written about him abroad, even in Japan (because who did not sit in Soviet concentration camps!)...[4]
