Welcome

[edit source]

Welcome to the Wikimedia Incubator! You can find help and information on Help:Contents. If your English knowledge is good, you can translate that page to other language you know so more people can understand it!

If you haven't created a user page yet, please create one with for example babel templates on it.

You can select your interface language in your preferences.

If you make articles, templates or categories, don't forget to add a prefix!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask it on my talk page. Greetings, SPQRobin 13:40, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, but I've got a question. The Macedonian keyboard layout (which I must use) doesn't have the < > |. Could they be placed on the characterbar below the editbox? I can't create prefixes now. Макѕе 13:51, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Курув

[edit source]

Could you please write a stub http://incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wp/ruq/Курув – just a few sentences based on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kur%C3%B3w ? Only 5-10 sentences enough. Please.

PS. Article about Kurów is already in 271 languages and dialects. If your village/town/city isn't yet on PL wiki, I can do article about it. (I'm first author of requests and this article have the biggest number of interwikis) Pietras1988 TALK 14:59, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have translated your article. --Макѕе 15:13, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your nice article ;). I'll adding your alphabet to article about Megleno-Romanian language on PL wiki because in all wikis are only informations about latin script (your language is also in cyrylic because in Macedonia people write cyrilic?). Pietras1988 15:24, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Yes, and in Greece they write with Greek Script :-) --Макѕе 15:25, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
That's interesting. Pietras1988 15:26, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Nice to see here another language with cyrillic script. A.M.D.F. 16:06, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I see many active Wikipedias using cyrillic script are here, more than latin ones I think :) --Макѕе 16:09, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Why Њикипедиа? What is the letter Њ? Is it something like W? If so, it is wrong - i see serbian НЬ instead. A.M.D.F. 16:39, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
It is a small error, I'm correcting it now. It needs to be В. --Макѕе 16:40, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I see another Serbian and Macedonian letters: љЉ џЏ ѕЅ ѓЃ ќЌ Ћћ Ђђ ψΨ - please check them too. A.M.D.F. 16:56, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Those are correct. Њ was formerly used instead of В and has a different sound now, but those still kept there sound. --Макѕе 17:00, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
A word љуелљуен looks strange. How it will be in latin script? Also ненцѕцлопедиа - letter ѕ after ц is strange. This letter looks like latin "s", but in this context, i think, it should be a vowel after ц. A.M.D.F. 17:26, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Quelquen. Nents¿dz?klopedia. Needs to be и. I'll fix that later. --Макѕе 17:30, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello

[edit source]

Hello Макѕе. I am a Macedonian Aromanian and your language (Meglenitic/Megleno-Romanian/Vlaheste) is very interesting. I just have a question: is you language closer to Aromanian (Armãneashti/Арманеште) or to Romanian (limba Romana)? BalkanFever 203.122.107.184 09:06, 28 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's more realted to Romanian. Приетен тев 10:39, 28 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Cool. I see that I can understand some of it, but not that much. Anyway, I hope you guys have a great time with the Vlaheste Wikipedia. Feel free to drop by the English wiki whenever, especially if you want to add something to the articles on Megleno-Romanian or Megleno-Romanians. Regards, 203.122.107.184 11:18, 28 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Megleno-Romanian script

[edit source]

Hi!

I'm asking you about this because you are one of the few people who contributed software localization and test articles in the Megleno-Romanian language (code ruq).

Someone has suggested on the page https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T357981 to remove support for Megleno-Romanian in the Greek and Cyrillic scripts. Greek was configured once, but there was practically no activity in it, and it is already disabled. There were some contributions of software localization in the Cyrillic script, but I am not sure that they are really valid or necessary.

So I'm asking you: in your opinion, is the support for Cyrillic or Greek script for this language really needed, or can they be removed?

Thank you! Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 19:50, 22 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
