မန္တလေးသည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ ဒုတိယအကြီးဆုံးမြို့နှင့် နောက်ဆုံးတော်ဝင်နန်းမြို့တော် ဖြစ်သည်။ ရန်ကုန်မြို့၏ မြောက်ဘက် ၇၁၆ ကီလိုမီတာ (၄၄၅ မိုင်) အကွာ၊ ဧရာဝတီမြစ်၏ အရှေ့ဘက်မြစ်ကမ်းပေါ်တွင် တည်ရှိပြီး လူဦးရေမှာ ၁,၂၂၅,၅၅၃ (၂၀၁၄ သန်းခေါင်စာရင်း) ရှိသည်။
