Yowarl, also known as the Swamp paperbark or Melaleuca rhaphiophylla, is a tree of the genus Melaleuca that is native to Western Australia.

The tree is used by the Noongar people for a variety of purposes including: using the bark for storage vessels, padding, kindling or sanitary purposes. The leaves are commonly used for medicinal purposes wer can be sucked or chewed for relief of influenza or head cold symptoms. The leaves can also be brewed to make tea wer are used in smoking ceremonies.[1]
