OIC Augusta view of Blackwood and ocean

Goorbillyup is the tribal Boundary of the Wadandi and Pibulmun people.[1]

Its name in English is the Blackwood River. It is 300 kilometres long and begins at the confluence of the Arthur River and the Balgarup River near Quelarup. It then travels in a south westerly direction through the town of Bridgetown and on through Nannup, until it discharges into the Southern Ocean at Hardy Inlet, near the town of Augusta.
