- It is also used as part of a farewell phrase: djinang moorditj - take care (lit. look strong), boordawan djinang - see you later (lit. later see)
- Alternatively Djinang is a language found in Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. Djinang is a part of the Yolŋu language family—consisting of 11 other languages.
