Translation Request
[edit source]Greetings Wikipeeta!
Nice to meet you.
I have Supported your Application for the creation of Plautdietsch Wikipedia.
- Greetings Peter Wiens,
- Could you kindly help me translate this article into Plautdietsch now? Please. (I have also shortened the article now) --Jose77 09:55, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
Hi Jose77, translation done, see Woare Jeesus-Jemeind Wikipeeta 10:47, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- Thankyou very much Peter Wiens for your wonderful translation effort!
- I am very Grateful.
- May God Bless You!
- If you want your favorite article or church denomination to be translated into the Chinese language then I would be glad to help you. --Jose77 21:39, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- Apparently you had already created the article here last year but I did not see it until today. Apologies for my mistake. --Jose77 21:43, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
That's true, Jose77, sorry from my side also, I should have known that ;-) Does it make sense to delete the old article? I'm not familiar enough yet with wikipedia cases like this... You offered to translate my favorite article into the Chinese language -- would it be possible to do that with Plautietsch or Russian Mennonite? Only a few sentences would be ok, I'd appreciate that very much! Wikipeeta 10:19, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
- I will help you translate both articles soon. --Jose77 21:43, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
- Done Your articles have been created:
- Plautdietsch

--::Slomox:: >< 00:23, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
Morjes Slomox! Dee Idee es goot, bloos fe ons Plautdietsche dochwoll doch een bet problematisch. Wie send too seea twee veschiedne Sproake, soo daut eene eenzelne List fe "plattdüütsche Öörd" en fe "plautdietsche Steda" to komplizet ooda too derchenaunda utlote wudd... Oba vleicht jeit daut doch!? Wan bie nds:Wikipedia:Wikiprojekt Öörd tom Biespell aula Mennonitensiedlunge mette plautdietsche Nomes senne wudde, wudd daut vleicht goot senne!? Wikipeeta 09:48, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- Fangt wi doch eenfach an mit Wp/pdt/Wikipedia:Nomes Mennonitensiedlunge. --::Slomox:: >< 23:04, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
WOW, gooda Aunfang, Slomox! Etj tjan leida lenjst nich aula Nomes opp Plautdietsch, wiels wie dee jeweenlich opp Hochdietsch bruckde. Jiedra tjant bloos dee Nomes, mett woone hee/see selws to doone haud, uck opp Plautdietsch. Etj woa dee List bie Plautdietsch-L (Email-Forum) nennjewe en dee Lied bedde, mie to halpe... Wikipeeta 10:22, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Dat geiht ok för all annere Projekten. --::Slomox:: >< 16:42, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

Other translation request
[edit source]Please, could you translate this article onto Plautdietsch?
- The Roman Catholic Church, officially known as the Catholic Church, is the world's largest Christian Church representing over half of all Christians and one-sixth of the world's population. The Catholic Church is a communion of 23 Sui Juris particular churches. Amoung these are the Western Rite (Latin Rite) and Eastern Catholic Churches comprising 2,782 dioceses. The Church's highest earthly authority in matters of faith, morality and Church governance is the Magisterium of the pope, currently Pope Benedict XVI. The pope holds supreme authority over the Church in concert with the College of Bishops, of which he is the head. The community is made up of an ordained ministry and the laity; members of either group may belong to organized religious communities. --Chabi 15:38, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

Question
[edit source]It is Nodamerika or Nod-Amerika? I've seen the two forms on this Wikipedia. --Chabi 16:00, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- Plautdietsch people seem to like both verieties, I prefer the one like in High German (Nodamerika). -- Wikipeeta 16:32, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
Tjristentum, does it means Christianity or Chrstianism? --Chabi 17:22, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- Christianity --Wikipeeta 17:30, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- And how do you say Chrstianism? --Chabi 17:33, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- ...never heard anyone use it, maybe fundamentalet Tjristentum would fit --Wikipeeta 17:38, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

A favor
[edit source]Please, could you make a stub of this?
- The Book of Mormon is a sacred text of the churches in the Latter Day Saint movement. It was first published in March 1830 by Joseph Smith, Jr. as The Book of Mormon: An Account Written by the Hand of Mormon upon Plates Taken from the Plates of Nephi. The Book of Mormon is the earliest of the defining publications of the Latter Day Saint movement.
The Book of Mormon is divided into smaller books, titled after the individuals named as primary authors and, in most versions, divided into chapters and verses.
Thanks a lot for your help.
I'm know putting photos in the articles and making categories because I can't spek a word of Plautdietsch . --Chabi 17:48, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
