Add topicRequest for new language
[edit source]It's very hard to make latgalian wikipedia official because no latgalian signed the project in proposal. So, please put your name here Requests_for_new_languages#Latgalian_Wikipedia. Now it is about 1.5 year for the test wikipedia and it is shame that there is no oficial release. Cīši paļdis! Zordsdavini 09:59, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
As everyone can see by following the link you indicated, more than 20 people have already voted for Latgalian Wikipedia to be approved since autumn last year. The result, however, was negative. I can guess Wikipedia may have some political grounds for not recognising Latgalians, as Wikipedia's versions in some other languages collected less supportive votes but still were approved. Sorry :D there was a mistake in Request page. The proposal was not rejected, it was closed because police has been changed. Please - follow once more or here [1]. Now they count contrubutors - NOT votes and lissining to the arguments. Now looks as I and Zummis are trying to get this project alive. I know it's sad for so long way. But if latgalian wiki would be official - will bemore contributors :) Zordsdavini 09:13, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
