Hello and welcome to Incubator! I'm happy that someone is working on Choctaw Wikipedia. I have a question: could you please move "Wp/cho" to "Wp/cho/Main Page" with "Main Page" translated into Choctaw? Thanks, SPQRobin 09:09, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'll see what I can do.Robfergusonjr 14:05, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I see your account is just created, so you can't move a page yet. So please say what "Main Page" means in Choctaw. Thank you, SPQRobin 14:13, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Main Page = Holisso Intʊnnʊp Achʊfa Ishahli Robfergusonjr 15:43, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Can I help?

[edit source]

Hi! Do you speak Choctaw? Do you need help? I don't speak the language but I can help doing a lot of things. Please, if you speak Choctaw, trnslate to me this phrase: Almazán is a municipality located in the province of Soria, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 5,755 inhabitants. Thanks a lot for your time. --Chabi 17:03, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Is Almazán based on a Choctaw word? Robfergusonjr 17:51, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Oh, I understand. Let me see what I can do. Robfergusonjr 17:53, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

What I can do?

[edit source]

Actually I don't know what to do on this project. I haven't got vocabulary. Could you translate the parts in English of this page? --Chabi 16:39, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think, for the time being, you should continue what you have been doing-- adding to the encyclopedia of every Choctaw encyclopedic word.

I'll work on translating the English parts. Robfergusonjr 18:46, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Where we can put this?

Chata Anumpa: Hattak yuka keyu hokʊtto yakohmit itibachʊfat hieli kʊt, nan isht imaiʊlhpiesa atokmʊt itilawashke; yohmi ha hattak nana hohkia, keyukmʊt kanohmi hohkia okla moma nana isht aim aiʊlhpiesa, micha isht aimaiʊlhtoba he aima ka kanohmi bano hosh isht ik imaiʊlhpieso kashke. English Language: That all free men, when they form a special compact, are equal in rights, and that no man or set of men are entitled to exclusive, separate public emolument or privileges from the community, but in consideration of public services. --Chabi 20:55, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

How about in the Chahta Anumpa section. Robfergusonjr 20:57, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ok. Put it you, please. --Chabi 21:04, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I copied the Chabi/cho/Main Page to the Main Page of Wp/cho. Robfergusonjr 21:15, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Prefix

[edit source]

Please use prefixes for every page, and please do not create unprefixed redirects. Thank you, SPQRobin 22:22, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

No request needed actually

[edit source]

Because cho.wikipedia already existed but has been locked, it can be opened by just asking at bug 10443. The problem is, you are the only one who would work on the wiki. So, you can get easily a Wikipedia if there is a community. SPQRobin 22:37, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'll continue to work on Incubator and refine what has been developed here and try to build a community. How does Wikipeida define a community? 3 people? 5? 100? Robfergusonjr 13:44, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
How much people do we need to have a Wikipedia. Interlingue wikipedia hasn't got a "community" (I'm the only person that write there), for example. --Chabi 12:22, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well, there isn't a number of people which defines a community. If you just say on that bug that some people want to work on it, they'll open it. SPQRobin 13:05, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'm going to request them to open it. Chabi and I will work on it. Robfergusonjr 19:58, 3 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

MY grammar

[edit source]

Sorry, but I don't spaek Choctaw and I don't have any grammar. I only search vocabulary on the Net. The article is really good, I'll search something about Chctaw grammar on the Internet. --Chabi 08:44, 31 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Choctaw Wikipedia

[edit source]

Hi! Since you can speak a little bit of Choctaw I think you could request for the opening of the Choctaw Wikipedia. I was an user there when it was opened and I tried to help as much as I could. Nowadays I have free time so I could continue helping here. Best regards.--Kanon6917 13:57, 13 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
