- Dobry wječor tebi! Hdyž je zdónk mjechki (přikładaj "prěni" a "třeći"), nimamy žanu formu nom/ak.du na "-aj". "Instrumenital" dyrbi rěkać "instrumental" (to je najskerje hišće moja pochiba). --Ewornar 19:57, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- Ich fürchte ich habe die Wendung "nimamy žanu formu" nicht verstanden. Jedenfalls ist die Vorlage jetzt so, dass man jedes einzelne Feld überscheiben kann.
- Jara derje!! ("nimamy žanu formu" = es gibt keine Form.) --Ewornar 10:37, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

Gratitude
[edit source]Thank you so much Ewornar for the excellent quality translation help and effort!
I am very Grateful.
May God bless you!
(In the future, if you ever need any articles to be translated into the Chinese or Taiwanese language, then I would be glad to help you.)
Yours Sincerely, From --Jose77 22:59, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- You're welcome, and thanks for your offer. I do not think we'll need articles to be translated any time soon, but it would be just great if you could drop in from time to time and add Chinese or Taiwanese translations for our headwords. --Ewornar 08:38, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

Importing?
[edit source]I saw in your contributions, that you write in your summary that you import pages. How can you import pages? Please give some explanation. SPQRobin 21:06, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- I have to disappoint you here, I am afraid. Unfortunately, I do not import anything (yet), I'd merely like to: At our institute, we have been collecting new words and phrases for quite some time (several thousands). What's more, I have written an Upper Sorbian spelling checker which contains ~ 50,000 words. All of this stuff is free, lots of it is not in any dictionary, the spelling checker is GPL. I guess it would be possible (at least I hope so) to write a script to generate articles (stubs) automatically which would contain the word itself, the morphological information and some translations. (I was fighting with the pywikimedia package since it doesn't tell how to log in on the incubator but I have sorted that out, meanwhile.) That would be stubs, of course, not ready wiktionary articles, but they would save us an enormous amount of time and would already provide valuable information to the user. --Ewornar 11:41, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
Uploading pages automatically
[edit source]Sorry for my late reply. If you've not already found a way to do this, I expect the easiest way is to convert those pages to XML format and then have an admin import them to the correct wiki using Special:Import, but you should wait until the wiki exists rather than doing this on the Incubator. - Thanks for the reply anyway. Meanwhile, I have persuaded pymediawiki to do what I want. --Ewornar 21:11, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
Image Tagging Image:Twornja-kolesow.png
[edit source]Thanks for uploading Image:Twornja-kolesow.png. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below) because we want to move all images from Incubator to Commons. That will make it easier to use images on your subdomain when your test wiki is finally approved. If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{cc-by-sa-3.0}}
to release it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license or {{PD-self}}
to release it into the public domain. See commons:Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after the uploader has been notified. If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find all your uploads using the Gallery tool. Thank you.
