Surzhyk Wikipedia[edit source]

Why there is no surzhyk test wikipedia ( ) on the list of all test wikipedias ( ? --Dmitry Nikitin 11:42, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Because the people working on the test are responsible for listing it themselves. Dbmag9 11:54, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lost pages[edit source]

The pages in which I was working in Nepal Bhasa wikipedia linking from ?????????? ????? ???:? (which links from the main page of the Nepal Bhasa test wikipedia itself) is lost along with the page itself. Its discussion page is displayed as Incubator talk:Lost pages/?????????? ????? ???:?. Can anything be done for its recovery? --Eukesh 15:31, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Adminship[edit source]

I was the test administrator of Pangasinan wikipedia. The [|Pangasinan wikipedia] is now a full-pledge wikipedia. I am wondering how I become a bureaucrat so that I can edit the buttons. Thanks. Arikasikis

I need to be Sysop![edit source]

Gronings Testwiki[edit source]

Could you explain me how I can create a testwiki for the Groningen dialect? Gronings is a dialect from the Netherlands. The languagecode is gos. The Gronings Language has a special possition in the Low-Saxon region, because it has had a large influence from the Frisian language. Sometimes East-Frisian is also seen as a part of Gronings. So it's also called Grunnegs-Oostfreesk or Grunnegs-Oostfrais. Grunnegs or Grönnegs is the local name of Gronings. I'm asking this, because the page of the test-wiki's is locked. 13:08, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Padonki test[edit source]

Sorry to disturb you, Angela, but protests aganist existence of "Padonki" slang in incubator increase. We are offended that indecent slang coexists with real and honorable Slavic languages, for example Belorussian. We think that better place for slang wikipedias is Wikia, but not real Wikipedia. We organasied voting in appropriate place: When the voting conditions will be fullfilled, will this "test wikipedia" will be deleted or transferred to Wikia? --Yaroslav Zolotaryov 07:04, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

According to proposed policy we have 10 votes from 10 possible --Yaroslav Zolotaryov 23:19, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Test Admin approval for Ota[edit source]

Hi Angela, Would like to draw your attention to the admin candidacy of Ota test Wikipedia. There are five support, one neutral comment and no opposition for Tarih. Thanks -- Mehrdad 05:42, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Rotuman[edit source]

I've started the test page for Wikipedia Rotuman (see request here and test page here) and would like it listed on this page. How should I go about it? BTW do I need to become an administrator to create the new wikipedia, or help it's testpage's development? Thanks Mattbray 07:55, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PS. Good work with what your doing for Wikimedia OZ, I'm from Canberra and definitely think our large Wiki Community needs representation. Cheers!

Uploading pages automatically[edit source]

Hi Angela,

I have proposed the Upper Sorbian Wiktionary which is now in the incubator. However, I would be able to create many (several thousand) pages automatically based on my earlier lexicographical work. Of course, I would like to upload them in a batch job, not one by one. I have tried to find something for two weeks now ( which is on wikimedia does not seem to work for the incubator) so I thought I'd ask you. The easy way would be to sftp to a server, upload all the pages and have them go to Wikt/hsb.

--Ewornar 10:51, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for my late reply. If you've not already found a way to do this, I expect the easiest way is to convert those pages to XML format and then have an admin import them to the correct wiki using Special:Import, but you should wait until the wiki exists rather than doing this on the Incubator. From extremaduran request[edit source]

Hi! I´m a user of the extremaduran wikipedia, and I would like to ask you if special pages (like the community portal and so...) have to be translated on the incubator (and how could we do it), or when the wikipedia is aproved...

Thank you and greetings! Tiu Chelu 19:26, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thank you for aswering me so quick! ^^ Tiu Chelu 13:59, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Redundant cat.[edit source]

Protected Your page is protected, and were it not, I would have replaced Category:Administrators with Category:Incubator:Administrators. Koavf 03:43, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It shouldn't have been protected, and I'm resigning from adminship here. Angela 05:17, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
