I'm an American amateur linguist and philologist with my cultural roots based throughout the British Isles, and São Miguel. I am a native English speaker. I have ancestors that spoke Yola, so I learned it and I am now fluent. I also began to learn some Portuguese from a young age, but have only enhanced it recently. I recently began learning Norwegian and Burmese to communicate better with my girlfriend's family. I've been studying Macanese as well to challenge my knowledge of Portuguese.
