[edit source]I propose that we use Ἰβηρία for Georgia.
- Could you elaborate more on this proposal? I have never heard the name Ἰβηρία being used in such a context. Usually it denotes the Iberian Peninsula.
--Omnipaedista 07:36, 19 May 2009 (UTC)- He is refering to Caucasian Iberia. I think Κολχίς should be kept, otherwise it would create more confusion. Crazymadlover.
- My answer then is that despite the fact that both names (Colchis and Iberia) have been associated with the country known today as Georgia, Colchis is the most ancient one and, above all, the least ambiguous one, so this is the name that should be preferred. --Omnipaedista 05:12, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
