Situation with the Alabama Wikipedia
[edit source]As I see this Wiki-project grows up, but it needs some help in it's creation. It has it's own request for creation, but 229 most used messages from 500 haven't been translated, and Statistic is not well also. For creation we need minimum 5 active users in this Wiki (minimum 10 edits per month for 1 person). Please, act! This wiki looks very good, but it needs your help in creation! Please, say, what do you think about it?--Andrijko Z. 16:47, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
- Well, at the moment no native speakers seem to be interested, so there's little we can do. --OWTB 07:36, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
- We need to find them...--Andrijko Z. 10:17, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
More relevant articles would help
[edit source]This wiki needs content that is relevant to native speakers. Right now it contains many bot-type pages about towns in Germany, Maine, Massachussets, Rhode Island, and Vermont. I'd suggest taking a practical, illustrated dictionary approach to balance out the content at this point, and add the automated bot-type articles after we cover some more of the basic topics and vocabulary. - I agree, the original stand of using bot-like articles didn't bring us very far. --OWTB (talk) 13:53, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
Alabama online dictionary available
[edit source]A very nice online dictionary of Alabama is now available:
I hope we can add some content from this dictionary, so as to make these pages more useful for people who speak the language. Djembayz (talk) 17:54, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
- Actually, it was already available in 2008. Markvondeegel and me used it to get vocabular knowledge. --OWTB (talk) 13:55, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
