Vandal[edit source]

Are you administrator? One of our pages is constantly vandalized by 62.181.37.202, I have restored it about 20 times. --Yaroslav Zolotaryov 18:33, 10 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

No, I'm not, but User:Timichal is a sysop; so you should contact him/her. --- Greetings, Melancholie 16:41, 13 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Incubator broken by your import![edit source]

Incubator has been broken by your inaccurate import from meta of an outdated page! The list of languages is now broken and I'll have to revert most of your changes, because I had spent lot of time tocreate the actual index, and looking for language codes in ISO 639 standards, aswell as fixing links, or adding comments for incorrect codes (for example and is the incorrect code for Andalus as it indicates ANOTHER language in ISO 639).

As soon as the incubator hasstarted, all pages from meta were imported and have been deprecated. Only the pages here are accurate, and meta pages should no longer be imported. There's already a string wardning on meta about this, whichsays that pages on Meta must not be changed, meaning also that incubator pages are newer!

Please never do that again. Don't import pages that were ALREADY imported here and that had evolved since then.

Grrrrrrr.............

Nothing was "broken" because of me, I just moved the current content of the template N_en/test on Meta towards Incubator, so nothing got lost! Furthermore my import wasn't inaccurate, as it was done almost GFDL compliant (proper SQL imports by users aren't possible as far as I know) If someone did a change to m:Template:N_en/test that was not correct, then this is not my problem. I just imported the current version and re-added some things of the older version. The problem is not my import, but that the Test-WP pages on Meta weren't marked as moved and as obsolete! And that site notice on Meta is not enough. You cannot delete the work of others, just because they have overlooked a system message at the top. If you want to "MOVE" a page you must not create a "COPY". How to mark a page as moved correctly (as only sysops can delete), you can see at m:Template:N_en/test. --- Best regards, Melancholie 16:41, 13 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
