The name "Plato" is attested in Coptic as ⲡⲗⲁⲧⲱⲛ, so there would be no need to write ⲁⲡⲗⲁⲧⲱⲛ. But if you strongly prefer ⲁⲡⲗⲁⲧⲱⲛ, I'm fine with it. ⲁϩⲙⲉⲧ (talk) 15:55, 7 August 2018 (UTC)

You're right, but Emil Maher Ishak mentions ⲁⲡⲗⲁⲧⲱⲛ as latter Bohairic form (probably under Arabic influence), that's why i've used it. But i'm also fine with ⲡⲗⲁⲧⲱⲛ, i just thought that if latter form attested (especially considering how much Arabic translations of early Greek philosophers influenced philosophy as a whole), we better use it. --ⲡⲁⲣⲇⲁ (talk) 22:13, 7 August 2018 (UTC)
