English: Waterfall in the Virunga National Park. The Virunga National Park (formerly Albert National Park) lies from the Virunga Mountains, to the Rwenzori Mountains, in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, bordering Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda and Rwenzori Mountains National Park in Uganda.
Nederlands: Watervallen in het Virunga Nationaal Park. Het Virunga nationaal park (vroeger het Albert Nationaal Park) strekt zich over een gebied van 7800 vierkant kilometer uit van het Virungagebergte tot het Rwenzorigebrergte. Het grenst aan het Edwardmeer en is bekend voor zijn nijlpaarden. In ander gebieden vindt men moerassen en vlakten.
Français : Chûtes dans le parc National des Virunga. Le parc national des Virunga est le plus ancien parc national de la République démocratique du Congo et d'Afrique. Créé en 1925, il est très riche par sa faune et sa flore[1]. Des traces d'okapis y ont par ailleurs été récemment observées[2]. Le parc est situé dans l'est de la République démocratique du Congo et couvre en partie les montagnes des Virunga, près du Rwanda et de l'Ouganda.
