Summary
| Description |
English: Kaiyuan Harbor is the major harbor on the northwest coast of the Orchid Island and is also the main access point to the island for travellers coming from Taiwan. There are regular ferry connections from Fugang and Houbihu to this island. The harbor is an artificial harbor, started its operations in 1965. It is currently used for fisheries and passenger ferry.
