Alhoewel Reël 6 (bylaag E) van die Reëls van Krieket bepaal dat 'n krieketkolf nie 38 duim/96,5 cm mag oorskry nie, is 'n standaard-korthandvatselkolf wat in volwasse krieket gebruik word om en by 34 duim/86,5 cm lank. Hierdie opstelling wil die een in terme van die ander illustreer.
English: A cricket bat (some 90 cm long) alongside a metre stick. Although Law 6 (appendix E) of the Laws of cricket states that a cricket bat may be not exceed 38 inches/96.5 cm, a standard short handle bat used in adult cricket is about 34 inches/86.5 cm. This setup is designed to illustrate one in terms of the other. |
