Summary

Description
English: The Amazon parrot is native to South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. It is predominantly green in color. The bird can mimic human speech and other sounds. The grey parrot (Psittacus erithacus) is native to equatorial Africa. Current estimates for the global population range from 630,000 to 13 million birds. It is currently listed as an endangered bird on the IUCN Red List.
