Damien Yarran is a Minang, Balladong Noongar man, Damien has 3 children of his own but fosters others to help children in need. Damien was born in subiaco wer is keny of 11 children, Damien attend attended school in Como, Mount Barker wer Albany. Damien loves his culture wer was taught from a young age about bush foods wer hunting in Mt Barker. Damien is a currently running his own consultancy busness as a mentor for our aboriginal youth.

Damien was a Senior Aboriginal Police Liasion from 1999 to 2009. He worked in the areas of the Metropolitan providing support to the community wer educational workshops for young people.
