오세아니아(Oceania)는 오스트레일리아, 뉴질랜드 및 수많은 섬들로 이루어져 있습니다.

지역

오스트레일리아, 뉴질랜드, 파푸아뉴기니가 이 대륙에서 가장 큰 나라들이며, 오스트레일리아와 뉴질랜드가 가장 많이 여행자가 방문하는 나라이다. 오세아니아는 폴리네시아 (뉴질랜드를 기점으로 동북쪽), 멜라네시아 (적도를 기점으로 서남쪽), 미크로네시아 (적도의 북쪽 지역)로 이루어져 있다.

크리스마스 섬과 코코스 섬을 포함한 오스트레일리아 지역 오세아니아에서 가장 크고 인구가 많은 나라이며, 대륙으로 간주되기도 한다. 유명한 여행지로는 아들레이드, 브리즈번, 다윈, 호바트, 멜버른, 퍼스, 시드니와 캔버라가 있다. It has a wide range of climates, from temperate to tropical, and a range of landscapes, from deserts to alpine regions and rainforests.

뉴질랜드 다른 국가들같이 오스트레일리아보다는 크기가 작은 편이지만 주요 관광지이자 지구상에서 가장 깨끗하고 아름다운 나라 중 하나로 널리 알려져 있다. 여행자 시설도 잘 개발되어 있다. 지리·문화적으로 뉴질랜드는 폴리네시아의 일부이다: 토착민인 마오리족은 폴리네시아인에 속하며, 오클랜드에 사는 폴리네시아인이 다른 폴리네시아 도시에서 사는 폴리네시아인보다 많다.

파푸아뉴기니 지리적으로는 멜라네시아의 일부이다. 파푸아뉴기니의 섬에는 열대우림, 웅장한 경치, 다양한 문화가 존재한다. 뉴기니의 주요 섬은 인도네시아와 맞닿아 있다. 방문객이 많지는 않은 주의가 필요한 여행지이다.

Stunning paradisical islands sprawling for thousands of kilometres across the remote South Pacific.

Melanesia (Fiji, New Caledonia, Norfolk Island, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu) Closely related to the ethno-cultural make-up of the oft-included Papua New Guinea. Fiji is the most visited country in Melanesia although New Caledonia is also a massive tourist spot.

Micronesia (Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau) The tiny Micronesian islands fall on or north of the Equator, and see less tourist and business travel than the rest of the island groupings. Palau is arguably the most interesting destination among these islands.
