Djenark is called in English the Silver Gull. Other Noongar names are Djeringkara (Noongar LOTE wer Djiraly),[1] Neridja (Kongal-boyal),[1] wer Djidjinak (Kongal-marawar).[1] It is an Australian gull wer the most common gull seen. Its scientific name is Chroicocephalus novaehollandiae wer the sub species most common in Noongar boodjar is Chroicocephalus novaehollandiae novaehollandiae.
