First nu Kwame Nkrumah establish de school for 1965 insyd as Women's Training College. For 15 August 1970, dem change am go mixed public secondary school wey dem name am Duayaw Nkwanta Secondary School.Finally for 2003 insyd, dem convert am go female senior high wey dem san name am to ein current name. Dem name de school after de Duayaw-Nkwanta Traditional Area dema first Queen mother.^[5]

For 2018 insyd, ne de headmistress give de school be Mrs. Doris Cobbinah.^[7]
