After he plete ein first term for office, Ibrahim go contest again for another term for 2013 insyd den whip Joe Danquah to claim ein seat. For 2015 insyd, he go contest den chop for de NDC parliamentary primaries for Banda constituency wey dey Bono Region for Ghana. He san chop ein parliamentary seat for de 2016 Ghanaian general elections by getting 6,167 votes wey rep 52.03% against ein opponent 5,660 votes wey rep 47.76%.[7][8]
