When possible, please use Roman numerals in this wiki. In some cases (for example equations), it’s impossible. If you see Arabic numerals in this wiki, they were probably written before the community decided to only use Roman numerals, so please replace them with Roman ones. If you see a new user using Arabic numerals, replace them with Roman ones and ping the user asking him to use Roman numerals in the future.

Large numbers[edit | edit source]

A line above the letter means multiplication by 1000, so C̄ means 100,000 and M̄ means 1,000,000. C̄M̄L̄X̄X̄V̄MMMCMVIII means 978,908. If you copy large numbers from an online converter, put attention on the lines above the letters as they will usually not be copied. You can copy letters with lines above from w:Macron (diacritic).
