Sister project links of Wy/hbs/Glavna stranica[edit source]

For several days, I still think that you could consider merging both tables that provide sister project links, providing two styles of them on same main page reserves nothing other than weird, and only provides hassles on maintaining them. Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 12:02, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Liuxinyu970226 if you wanna be helpful and know a bit about Wikimedia Commons, it would be great if you can find a full set of most recent Wikimedia project logos (without text) in .svg vectors so that I can bring them all together and arrange in a single .svg file...meanwhile I use the old ones. --Zblace (talk) 14:05, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, if you're indeed contributing a Wikivoyage test, then I don't know why did you also insert a "Wikivoyage" on the middle-bottom, shouldn't that be Wikipedia instead? Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 14:08, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Copying[edit source]

Wy/hbs/Indeks tura this page is basically left untouched ever since you copied the content from en.voy, further more, you proceeded to copy more stuff from there to their respective pages here. Not saying that what you're doing is wrong since you provided attribution, but shouldn't you at least work on one page before going on to another? --Minorax^«¦talk¦» 14:59, 16 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Minorax not really - my approach is abit different (maybe more of holistic then incremental) and includes copying whatever I figure out is meaningful and inspiring for us to build around (can be used as reference even when in English), regardless of other pages being translated or not. Sometimes I invite other editors to translate things as a form of introducing them to Incubator, sometimes I do not.

Doing page by page translation would be meaningful if this is only translation project, but it is actually attempt at localization and innovation. You can also see that I did editing on EN of some pages but did not copy them as Ido not find them 'ripe' and useful to use yet.

Having said this...just aquestion back to you: Why are you following this in general? I was told stewards are super busy and there are so few of them, so it feels a bit strange that you prioritize this - no? --Zblace (talk) 15:35, 16 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
