• Glosa is an artificial auxiliary language designed for international communication. It has several characteristics:
• Its pronunciation is regular, and its spelling is phonetic.
• Its structure is very simple and based on meaning.
• It is an analytical language with no inflections or genders. A small number of words handle grammatical relations.

• Lancelot Thomas Hogben (9 December 1895 – 22 August 1975) was a British experimental zoologist and medical statistician. He developed the African clawed frog (Xenopus laevis) as a model organism for biological research in his early career. He also attacked the eugenics movement in the middle of his career, and wrote popular books on science, mathematics and language in his later career. He created an international language, Interglossa, as 'a draft of an auxiliary for a democratic world order', which became the basis for the language Glosa.

If you could translate this one as well, it would be great:

• Interglossa is a constructed language that British scientist Lancelot Hogben created in 1943. His goal was to make it easier for people from different countries to communicate, especially in scientific and technical fields. Hogben based the vocabulary mainly on international scientific terms with Greek and Latin roots. In the 1970s, Ron Clark and Wendy Ashby revised and expanded the language. They made changes to the vocabulary and renamed it Glosa, which is considered the modern descendant of Interglossa.

Die "Wahre Jesus-Kirche" oder Wahre Jesus Gemeinde (Eigenschreibweise des deutschen Zweigs) ist eine chinesische christliche Kirche, die 1917 in Peking gegründet wurde. Johannes 3,16 (Kapitel 3, Vers 16 des Johannesevangeliums) ist ein bekannter Vers der Bibel. Der Vers gilt als Zusammenfassung der gesamten christlichen Erlösungsbotschaft und wird auch als „Evangelium im Evangelium“, oder als Evangelium in nuce bezeichnet.

I just saw your blog again. A few corrections:

1. (This is my mistake) I falsely wrote down “Dar Vers lautet *in* dar Lutherbibel” and not “Dar Vers lautet *ei* dar Lutherbibel” in my article - I seem to have switched to Standard German for a second - Errare humanum est. (I have corrected this error in the article already)
2. You wrote down two versions of the phrase and explained in English that they were from the Lutherbibel and the HOF-Bible respectively, but then added the (Lower) Silesian sentence that I wrote in the article into your blog. Aside form the mistake I made I just described, the sentence in question means “The verse in the Lutherbibel/HOF-Bible reads as follows:” in English, so it would be incorrect to put it at the end of the text. If you want to say “Lower Silesian translation of the …-bible verse” then you should say “Schläsche Iebersetzung vu dam Vers ei dar …-bibel” Aside from that, it is great. Good luck again with your project!

We should probably change the Slavic template a bit to make it look a bit more similar to the French, Portuguese, Sinitic, Italian and German templates.

Yes, the Francophone templates had non-existent Wikis to encouraging new Wiki creation. It has succeeded on multiple cases, not just in the Francophone template but also on the Lusophone template. For example, the Makhuwa Test-Wiki was initially created with this portuguese text. Today, the page looks like this and the translations were made by native speakers themselves and there are now 1,011 articles there.

Example 2: Tshiluba Main Page previously had French text. Now the same page looks like this with 1,600 articles. Therefore the Francophone template is to encourage native speakers to 'indigenize' the Main Page and feel a sense of belonging in the Francophone community so they can gradually achieve 'autonomy' within the French 'Commonwealth' (also bear in mind that it was not that long ago when Kikongo, Lingala, Bambara, Wolof and Fula were the only Francophone African wikipedias available and all other Francophone African language editions were completely non-existent) . The reason why specific language templates for their African group are not yet created is because many of their language families do not yet have access to the internet. Say for example the Democratic Republic of the Congo. There is no point at this stage to create a language family template with 100 languages of which 95 of them are red links. Besides, the 'language for inter-ethnic communication' in the DRC is French anyway. --DaveZ123 (talk) 10:38, 3 November 2025 (UTC)

Should we create a list for the language groups [notice how I say groups, not families] templates?

I would suggest we make the templates actual templates first, e.g. [[Incubator:Template:Die deutschen sprachen]] (in this case for the German languages). If you wish to create another template, please use the Turkic template as a base - the source code for counting test wiki articles is simplified there and delivers the same result.

The Fala language articles was created on Wikipedia Incubator a while ago, however the former contributors were no longer active so certain vandals mass created non-Fala content and this lead to some people claiming that all the content was not in fala and hence the Administrators deleted all the pages. Andalusian is the most impressive. Some Andalusians had requested for an Andalusian wikipedia; however due to the lack of an iso 693-3 code, the application was rejected, so they created an Andalusian fork site that translated all Spanish Wikipedia articles into Andalusian using automation. --DaveZ123 (talk) 06:24, 3 November 2025 (UTC)

Just one doubt, why for the Spanish one you just put the languages spoken in Spain, but for the French and Portuguese, you add languages spoken in Africa and South America?
