• Pročitajte stranice pomoči, ako izměnjanje viki-sajtov jest za vas novo.
• Prěgledite spis děl na glavnoj stranici, ako vy ne znajete, čim pomogti projektu.

Bot

Hello! Please don't run a bot in the Incubator without seeking approval for it (via Incubator:Administrators). You have created around 17,000 entries in the Interslavic Wiktionary, but those pages are creating a massive maintenance overhead for future contributors. They are riddled with HTML and inline-CSS-heavy syntax, which makes it very very hard for others to edit the pages in any meaningful way.

Before undertaking this project, you should familiarize yourself with existing Wiktionary editions to see how they work, and with wikis in general. MediaWiki (the wiki software used here) has very powerful template capabilities, and using those capabilities properly would reduce the page size of the pages you are creating to a fraction of their current size, and make them much easier to maintain en masse.

There is also the question of copyright – do you own the copyright to the material of this dictionary you are importing here? If yes, can you prove it? If no, it is a breach of copyright law and Wikimedia's terms of use, and must be deleted.

In any case, I would actually recommend that we delete everything you have imported to start fresh. But when starting fresh, you should – like I said – edit some entries manually, and frequently look at existing Wiktionary editions to see how things are done. Hello Jonǃ I apologize, I was just experimenting. Technically, I could create templates and re-run the bot again to edit the existing pages to the proper format.

Regarding the copyright, I don't think importing this dictionary is a breach of copyright law, but let's just remove it anyway. GlěbDyndar (talk) 21:21, 16 March 2026 (UTC)
