Details of my current work
The A2K Programme has prioritized five Indian language Wikimedia communities and developed a detailed plan. These languages are: Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, Konkani, Odia.
Each one of the five A2K members are spearheading one of the five prioritised Indian languages plan. My current primary focus is to help build and grow Konkani Wikimedia community and project.
The incubation of Konkani Wikipedia was initiated in 2006 (it could be one of the few incubation projects in incubation for the longest period). During the past 7 years little progress can be seen on this incubator project as it has accumulated only 86 articles with very few editors. The project received maximum number of edits in 2007-2008 and since then the level of activity has been gradually decreasing with negligible edits in 2012-2013. My main aim is to bring Konkani Wikipedia out of incubation as a live Wikipedia project.
Besides the specific Konkani language work plan, I also provide overall support to all Wikipedia India language communities. More details of which can be found here.
You can find my blog posts on this page. I usually cover details of a workshop, program, analysis that I have conducted. You'll have to search for my blog posts by entering my name in the search box.
