From Wikimedia Incubator

The following email was my little attempt to ask Nērtiks if he would allow me to import the Prūsiska Wikipēdija into the Incubator.
He never responded back, so I had assumed that would be fine. He responds to his emails, but I'm guessing only if they're in Prussian/Polish.

I know my mistake now, but it might be too late. I copied over HALF of the Prūsiska Wikipēdija over to the Incubator.

I was saying it was doomed because I had a feeling the Language Committee would reject the request just like the other few times we tried! As it turns out that assumption is probably dead wrong, but there's no agreeing on a specific orthography in a case like this; we're gonna step on someone's toes no matter what we do!

But there's no way to step on anybody's toes, if nobody comes together to try to discuss on the spellings in the first place. And we need to have a standardised spelling.
The Prūsiska Wikipēdija already has a standardised spelling, with the wiki being made by Prusaspirā, after all. Toki Pona managed to have their test wiki not be on the Incubator, but an independent site. So Prussian could too, maybe.

Maybe a deletion wave in order for this?

Recently I have made the realisation that the Prussian Incubator project is doomed. Definitely, definitely, doomed.
Sooo I'm moving back to the Prūsiska Wikipēdija. My bad. Na 2024/09/25 19:20, Kxeo peisāi:

Oh shoot, I just found out that changing prusai to prusaspira actually
makes it work. Ooops.
I wonder if you want the stuff imported over to the incubator (yes im
genuinely asking this its for a good reason) so that we can get the
Prussian Wikipedia up to the ranks of a normal regular Wikipedia?

You also might wanna change the encyclopedia on your website to
Wp/prg - Wikimedia Incubator
https://incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wp/prg.
The current link is kinda dead.
