Namespace names

[edit source]

Hi,

Currently, this Wikipedia doesn't have its own namespace names. All the namespace names are written in English: "Talk", "User", "Template", and so on.

Would you like to define your own namespace names?

You can read more about this here: :translatewiki:Translating:MediaWiki#Translating namespace names

Just fill this table:

Also, is there a difference in your language between masculine and feminine (for example, like in Spanish: Usuario / Usuaria)? Thank you! ToluAyod (talk) 19:21, 28 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

No, @ToluAyod. There is no difference between masculine and feminine in Jju, unlike in Spanish. Kambai Akau (talk) 18:56, 30 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! I also noticed for namespaces like "File talk" and "Module talk" there's a "n" added in front of the names after "Ba̱ryat" which isn't done to the others. Wanted to confirm if this is correct? ToluAyod (talk) 18:28, 31 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
Oh, yes. It's a good observation, @ToluAyod. It's actually correct as it is. Not all the time does the "n-" prefix get to be added to the next word, but in this case, the "fayil" takes the prefix just like the "nkkwan" in the last line. Thanks! Kambai Akau (talk) 21:45, 31 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for this clarification @Kambai Akau ToluAyod (talk) 13:53, 1 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
