ⲣⲉⲛϥ `ⲙⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉⲙⲛⲭⲏⲙⲓ

What name should we use for Algeria? ⲁⲗⲅⲉⲣⲓⲁ, ⲁⲗϫⲁⲍⲁⲓⲣ/ⲁⲗϫⲁⲍⲏⲓⲣ or should we translate it into Coptic? As الجزاير means "the islands" in Arabic, we could use ⲑⲉⲛⲙⲟⲩⲓ - it sounds natural, meaning "the land of the island(s)". Actually, I'm strongly in favor of ⲑⲉⲛⲙⲟⲩⲓ, at least if the only alternatives are ⲁⲗⲅⲉⲣⲓⲁ and ⲁⲗϫⲁⲍⲁⲓⲣ. --ⲁϩⲙⲉⲧ (talk) 15 September 2017
