The Orthography[edit source]

I'm sure that nobody is insterested in a Wikipedia written like this. At first it was written in Arabic chat alphabet, it was not phonemic at all, though, you can easily guess the right pronunciation. Then it was replaced by different types of phonemic Latin alphabets, and it was good and readable. Then, it got changed to Arabic, which a non-phonemic alphabet again, full of diacritics, but it was okay too, since everyone was saying that we have to write in Arabic script. But now, this is a mess. My suggestions, either denote short vowels instead of long ones, or denote long vowels only in closed syllables and by doubling the vowel.

Forget about keeping the writing system "convertible" to Arabic script, if you will use all those diacritics, use Arabic script instead.

Also, I thought that we will use Standard Darija instead of different Maghrebi Wikipedias, if that's the case, there is no need to keep editing this test Wikipedia. --GeekEmad (talk) 20:44, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
