I would like to request to become a test administrator in the Ancient Greek Wikipedia (Wp/grc), since the previous administrator has become inactive and maintenance work has to be continuously done to prevent vandalism and to remove non-encyclopedic content. I know the language at a university level. As a contributor, I do my best to improve the quality of this Wikipedia, making it a valuable resource, especially about subjects related to ancient Greece. Thank you for your interest, @Md Mobashir Hossain. I defiantly have no objection based on trustworthiness or experience. However, just so you know, there are currently very few admin related tasks, and I rarely find the need to use my test admin tools. @MF-Warburg Hi, just before archiving, I received thanks from the user Nintendofan885. It seemed like the candidate had been misusing their tools. User Nintendofan885 was not related to Wp/nup, nor a Wp/nup registered user. If the local bureaucrat issues TA rights without conducting a thorough check, it could potentially impact the confidence of the community. Just for the record, I haven’t seen other local bureaucrats for a while, and the two active bureaucrats in this conversation didn’t even check the candidate before issuing TA rights. Once a community member pointed out an issue, the bureaucrats didn’t ask any questions to the candidate. Perhaps the candidate still doesn’t understand that they can’t delete a user page outside their project. They may not do it again, or they may; there has been no clarification from the candidate yet. Hi, I would like to request test adminship for Wy/ta because I am apparently the most active (and near-only) real contributor to this wiki. It was only until now that I spotted vandalism in this test, so I would like test adminship so that I can deal with vandalism in this test. Thank you.

Hello Sir MF-W, I've been generally active on the Incubator but I'm specifically requesting test-admin rights on (wp/abr and wp/nzi) as a team lead and technical person for these language communities to ensure guidance and support editors in making it vandal free. I have several experiences in managing the test wikis, that's from creating or setting up a new test wiki page for wp/wlx and wq/fat and many more. I hope my request will be granted. Thank you

Hello, I kindly request for a test-administrator rights on Karai-karai Wikipedia (Wp/kai). I have been actively contributing to the Kai Wiki and understand that some pages needs to be either renamed, moved and/or deleted. Hello, I kindly request for a test-administrator rights on Shughni Wikipedia (Wp/sgh). I have been actively contributing to the Shughni Wiki and understand that some pages needs to be either renamed, moved and/or deleted.

Examples of vandalism by anonymous IP addresses on Wp/sgh include:

All three are exact replicas of the cyrillic version of this article: Wp/sgh/Qaysar (Caesar) and the vandal created those articles on May 23, 2024 (ie. 250 days ago).

Other examples of vandalism include:

  • Wp/sgh/Г (gibberish text, created on May 23, 2024)
  • Wp/sgh/В (gibberish text, created on May 23, 2024)
  • Wp/sgh/Б (gibberish text, created on May 23, 2024)

Mi nombre es Héctor Josué Martínez Flores. Desde el año 2023 he estado coordinando y dirigiendo el proyecto de la Wikipedia en náhuat (Wp/ppl), trabajando junto a estudiantes, maestros y miembros de la comunidad para revitalizar y fortalecer nuestra lengua a través de este espacio.

Actualmente hemos alcanzado más de 700 artículos y el proyecto se mantiene activo con ediciones constantes, editatones y actividades de traducción. Como coordinador del esfuerzo comunitario, me gustaría solicitar amablemente los permisos de administrador en Wp/ppl, con el fin de:

  • Apoyar mejor en la organización y mantenimiento del proyecto.
  • Facilitar la gestión de páginas, plantillas y categorías.
  • Brindar un espacio más ordenado y funcional para todos los colaboradores.

Here is my comment:
Translations of existing articles: He has translated articles on a continent, virtually all the countries & capital cities of Europe and Asia, languages, Shughni people and names on the topics template and the countries template. I would give him a 10/10 on this.
Shughni is not yet available on Google Translate as of this year, so it is not possible for non-native speakers to use automatic machine translation. This means the article quality will not be adversely affected by machine translation when compared to certain wikipedia editions. Only a native speaker would have the knowledge, fluency and motivation to contribute with these Shughni translations.
He has also helped translate the shughni language userbox which I have now added to his userpage.
New Article creations: He has so far created one article. The very first article that he created was this article (created today). This demonstrates that he knows how to create a new page although whether this is regarded as sufficient for him to become a Test Administrator is for Incubator Administrators such as you to decide.

Bear in mind that the policy above mentions that "Users are given 5 days to place comments." so the five day period has not yet lapsed. My own request for Test Adminship was only approved after 17 days so there is no rush to make an immediate decision today. --DaveZ123 (talk) 09:20, 9 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello admins! I am InNerdsWeTrust and am here to request test wiki adminship for Lower Silesian Test Wikipedia. I would like to, amongst other things, rename some articles that are falsely titled in Standard German (e.g. the article on Wilhelm II, which seems to have been literally copied from Standard German Wikipedia by somebody not familiar with this language). To be honest, I would prefer if one of the existing admins could do this, but they all seem to have been inactive for quite some time.
