English: First trimester (I): by the end of the first trimester, the baby is fully formed; arms, hands (2), fingers, feet (1), toes, and can move hands. Fingernails and toenails are starting to develop. The general shape of teeth (3) and ears (4) are distinguished. The baby is approximately 7.6-10 cm long, and 28 grams (1 ounce) in weight.
Second trimester (II): by the end of the second trimester, the baby’s fingers (2) and toes (1) are well defined. The baby is now developing hair on their head (5) and teeth (3), nails, and bones are becoming denser. Weighing approximately 2 pounds and 12 inches in length, the baby starts to move and respond.
Third trimester (III): the baby is almost fully developed. By the end of the third trimester, the baby can blink, see, feel, respond, and grasp. Their lungs (6) are almost fully developed. When the baby is ready, he/she will drop down to the pelvis with their head (5) facing the birth canal. At birth the baby will be about seven pounds at 18-20 inches long.
